Our lives are a series of obstacles and miracles. We have our own little miracle granddaughter, the beautiful little Evelyn. Only three weeks old, she is a fighter. She wanted to live and be with her family, she endured heart surgery, a collapsed lung, and pain, she beat the odds and lived to be so pretty in pink, and happily home now. There have been many tears of love, empathy and gratitude.
Today, I cry for her....she is home and happy !

| DADDY - GABRIEL & EVELYN The most beautiful sight to see ! Home at last ! It took an army of nurses and doctors at Doernbecher Children's Hospital, and we are so thankful to all of them. My daughter told us that there were about 30 people assisting Evelyn in her struggle to live. Born with half a heart, she is their miracle too ! She is the reason for our gratitude this Thanksgiving.
